ADRA Developing Updated Global Strategy:

Announces additional staffing reductions to align resources with operation of  ongoing highest priorities

ADRA International today announced the next in a series of steps to develop and operationalize an updated global strategy. The organization is focused during this process on how best to continue fulfilling its purpose of serving humanity so all may live as God intended.

At the outset, ADRA will be engaged in reducing expenses and creating efficiencies to ensure that the organization can continue to fulfill its top strategic priorities, even as an updated global strategy is developed and operationalized. When staff reductions are completed by end of summer, ADRA’s workforce will have been reduced by approximately 50%. These reductions affect all levels of the organization. Roles that predominantly are focused on helping ADRA continue to deliver strong results in priority program areas; and others involved in developing partnerships and alliances and sourcing funds that can help strengthen ADRA’s impact going forward, will be among the positions prioritized in the short- and longer terms.

ADRA regrets that staff reductions are necessary due to recent funding cuts, but our commitment to modeling Christ’s love and serving those in the world’s most destitute regions remains unwavering.

We will share additional updates on our progress as merited.
