Statement by ADRA President on the Middle East Crisis:
In light of the recent crisis in the Middle East, we want to express our deep concern for all those affected by this tragic situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with the individuals and families impacted by the turmoil, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to their safety and well-being.
Our emergency management team has already begun coordinating closely with our country offices operating in the region and partners in Lebanon and Syria, to address immediate needs and provide essential resources and sustenance to those who are suffering. We will continue monitoring the situation closely and adapt our efforts to ensure we can support the communities most in need as circumstances evolve.
At ADRA, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our personnel working in the region. We understand the risks involved and are taking all necessary precautions to protect our team members while they carry out their vital humanitarian work.
Let us come together in hope and solidarity, praying for peace and protection for all those impacted by this crisis. We will do all we can to support the people in the region and uphold our mission of compassion and service.
Thank you for your ongoing dedication and support during these challenging times.Michael Kruger
