The ADRA network is activating an emergency response in the wake of flooding and landslides in Nepal.

In response to this widespread destruction, ADRA Nepal has distributed emergency food, shelter resources, and hygiene and female dignity kits, household items, and bedding to thousands of those affected. ADRA has also been running health camps and providing psychosocial counseling.

The flooding has caused devastation in Nepal. The death toll has now reached more than 143 lives lost, with more than 4611,000 displaced from their homes and close to 65,000 homes completely destroyed. Overall, more than 91,000 families have been affected by the incessant rainfall, flood, and landslides that span the eastern, central, and western regions of the country.
