An average of 1,500 refugees are arriving to Uganda every day as they flee uncertainty and violence in South Sudan.

ADRA Uganda is working closely with partners on the border and in the country to meet the needs of the steady stream of these displaced people. The first response activity is the distribution of non-food item packs, which generally include hygiene and household materials, to 250 of the refugee families.

A longer-term plan is being put together to address other critical needs, including water, sanitation, and hygiene. We will post updates as available.
