Overpopulated Camps

Many refugee camps are overpopulated, underdeveloped, and vulnerable to the elements. It is not uncommon to see entire semi-permanent communities made entirely of tarps and sticks, or to see single room shelters housing multiple families. Access to water, sanitation, health care, education, and other essential services, is often limited or non-existent.
