  1. Life-Saving Practices
    Come roll up your sleeves for a hands-on workshop! Together we’ll try out real-life tools that save lives in humanitarian emergencies. You’ll learn how to use a simple arm band to check for malnutrition in children, test a filter to turn dirty water into safe drinking water and much more. No experience needed – just curiosity and a willingness to jump in.
  2. From Global To Local: How ADRA Prepares for Disasters and How You can Prepare at Home
    Come join this practical workshop on disaster preparedness! You’ll see how ADRA gets ready for emergencies around the world—through planning, risk reduction, and prepositioning—and then roll up your sleeves to create your own family emergency plan. Together we’ll build a home disaster kit, explore tools to stay safe in severe weather, and take part in hands-on activities with useful take-home items. You’ll leave with a concrete plan and the confidence to keep your family safe when emergencies happen.
  3. Estate Planning
    You’ve worked hard to provide for your loved ones and the causes you care about. Now, discover how to create a plan that reflects your values, protects your family, and leaves a lasting legacy. Learn how to create or update your estate plan, strategies to reduce taxes, and ways to make a lasting difference through charitable giving.
