ADRA is responding to massive flooding in Sri Lanka that has left 193 dead, 94 missing, and around 100,000 displaced from their homes.

The flooding follows Cyclone Mora, which has now also hit the countries of Bangladesh and India.

In Sri Lanka, ADRA is working with partners to distribute emergency food rations, which includes flour, rice, oil, salt, and other staples, as well as hygiene kits. Hygiene kits provide basics such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, and soap, which keep people clean and help prevent the spread of disease.

ADRA Bangladesh is responding within their country with a distribution of food packages for 3,500 people. Each family receives 18 kg (39.7 lb) of emergency food rations.

None of our work is possible without you. Please share an urgent contribution to ADRA’s emergency fund today.
