ADRA Receives 2011 American In-house Design Award
SILVER SPRING, Md. – The Adventist Development and Relief Agency’s (ADRA) design team has recently been recognized for outstanding design work by Graphic Design USA, a magazine providing graphic designers and creative professionals with latest news and trends for nearly 50 years.
The agency’s design team received six awards for various design campaigns and projects in the category of In-house Design, Graphic Design USA’s leading showcase identifying exceptional work by in-house designers across the United States. This award recognizes the talent, special challenges, and contribution in-house design teams have in their organizations.
“These awards highlight we work with a group of very talented people, whose skills are recognized and esteemed by industry peers,” expressed Karla Cole, Director for Design and Production at ADRA International. “Through our participation in the competition, we are able to gauge where we rank amongst other professionals in the design trade. It is rewarding to see our work is valued.”
This is the sixth year more than 4,000 entries have been submitted for nomination of this award. Other recipients of the American In-house Design Award include Better Homes and Gardens, Mattel, and USA TODAY Brand Marketing.
