ADRA International Wins Amazon Web Services “Go Further, Faster” Grant

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) International is excited to announce that it is a winner of the Amazon Web Services (AWS) “Go Further, Faster” Grant.

ADRA was one of five winners chosen from 200 shortlisted organizations, out of more than 1,400 applicants. This year’s awards focus on using artificial intelligence for impact, recognizing pioneering nonprofit organizations across three continents.

“AWS recognizes the strength of ADRA’s well-architected technology stack and is pleased to support its continued enhancement,” said Amazon Web Services. “Through the Go Further, Faster grant, this investment will help accelerate the delivery of a critical project and amplify its impact”

ADRA was awarded the grant for its “Unified Impact Intelligence Platform,” which aims to convert fragmented data into real-time evidence for humanitarian impact.

“Using AWS data lake technology with AI safeguards, the system can connect individual donations to field outcomes within hours of deployment,” said Mark le Roux, Chief Technology Officer for ADRA International. “This advancement cuts manual reporting time in half while strengthening donor relationships through timely, personalized updates that demonstrate exactly how their support changes lives.”

Each year, Amazon provides AWS Imagine Grant winners with a holistic package of resources, including unrestricted funding, Amazon Web Services computing credits, and expert technical guidance to help move their projects forward.
