Um terramoto de magnitude 6,3 atingiu recentemente a Albânia, afectando sobretudo a cidade de Durres e Kruja, bem como a aldeia de Thumana, em Kruje. O número de mortos ascende a 31 e pelo menos 650 pessoas ficaram feridas. Os esforços de salvamento estão atualmente em curso, estando ainda a ser retirados corpos dos escombros.
