ADRA Weekend in Orlando: Film, Conversations, and Hands-On Learning

This September, ADRA International is coming to Orlando, Florida, for a weekend of stories, learning, and connection. Join us September 12–14 at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs for an inspiring lineup of events designed to bring our community together.

Friday, September 12 at 6:00 PM
 
Kick off the weekend with a free showing of Extraños entre vosotros, ADRA’s powerful new documentary that shares the stories of refugees and migrants through the lens of compassion and faith. Watch the trailer here: Strangers Among You Trailer.

Saturday, September 13 from 5–8 PM
 
Join us for an ADRA Town Hall. You’ll hear a keynote message from ADRA’s President-elect, Paulo Lopes (joining virtually from Brazil), engage in Q&A, and hear short presentations from ADRA staff.

Sunday, Sept. 14 – 10AM – 12PM: Three interactive workshops open to the public:

  1. From Global to Local: How ADRA Prepares for Disasters and How You Can Prepare at Home – You’ll leave with a concrete plan and the confidence to keep your family safe when emergencies happen.
  2. Your Life, Your Legacy: A Guide to Smart Estate Planning – Learn how to protect your family, reduce taxes, and leave a legacy that blesses God’s mission.
  3. Life Changing Practices – Try out simple life-saving tools ADRA uses around the world.
