But the need continues. Your gift today can still help vulnerable children stay safely in school and continue their education.

Impact Story

School Makes Me Feel Valuable

Mali is 18 years old and studying Fine Arts in northern Thailand. She dreams of one day using art therapy to help others heal.

But after her uncle passed away, Mali’s aunt was left raising the family alone while working multiple jobs to survive. Without support, continuing school may not have been possible.

Through ADRA’s Keep Girls Safe scholarship program, Mali has been able to continue her education and pursue her future with hope.

“Coming to school every day makes me feel valuable and gives me many opportunities,” she says.

Today, your support can help students like Mali stay safely in school and build brighter futures.

Real Impact

More Than 20 Years of Changed Lives

For more than 20 years, ADRA’s Keep Girls Safe program has helped vulnerable children in northern Thailand continue their education and build safer futures. One of the ways is through providing scholarships for children ages 13-28 to cover basic education expenses.

Many students who once faced poverty, instability, or the risk of leaving school due to cost have gone on to graduate, find stable work, support their families, and build independent lives.

Former scholarship recipients have become accountants, salon workers, small business owners, and university graduates. Others are now raising families of their own and giving back to their communities.

Behind every scholarship is a child with potential — and the opportunity to pursue a different future.
