FIOVANA, meaning “change” in Malagasy, is a 5-year Resilience Food Security Activity (RFSA) implemented in the three Southeastern Regions of Madagascar: Vatovavy, Fitovinany, and Atsimo Atsinanana from 2019 to 2024.

The project was funded by USAID and implemented by a consortium composed of ADRA as prime, and FHI360, AVSF, FIANTSO, and TANGO International. The FIOVANA team worked with participant communities to achieve sustainable improvement of food and nutrition security and resilience of vulnerable populations. The project implemented activities across three purposes:

1. Health & Nutrition, and WASH
2. Agriculture and Livelihoods
3. Disaster and Risk Management

Social and Behavior Change (SBC), and Gender, Youth, and Social Dynamics (GYSD) were integrated across all purposes to provide building blocks for sustainable impact.

Please join us to learn about FIOVANA’s achievements. Engage in a conversation with a panel of speakers and field implementers, providing lessons learned and insights on key initiatives implemented across the three purposes.

Please contact Alejandra Lopez at alejandra.lopez@adra.org with any questions about the event.
