ADRA has been monitoring Hurricane Patricia and making preparations as it approaches Mexico’s west central coast. The massive Category 5 storm is measuring as the strongest hurricane ever recorded and will likely maintain its current wind speeds of 200 mph as it makes landfall on Friday night.
Staff and volunteers from ADRA Mexico are in place and ready to begin rapid assessments and disaster relief activities as soon as safely possible.
