Em 2025, as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es humanit\u00e1rias de toda a regi\u00e3o testemunharam necessidades crescentes entre as pessoas que se deslocam, desde o acesso a alimentos e abrigo at\u00e9 \u00e0 prote\u00e7\u00e3o, cuidados m\u00e9dicos e informa\u00e7\u00e3o fi\u00e1vel. Uma dessas hist\u00f3rias pertence a Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A viagem de um pai: Jos\u00e9 Ant\u00f3nio e as suas filhas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jos\u00e9 Antonio deixou a Venezuela com as suas duas filhas pequenas, Andiervis, de quatro anos, e Angervys, de seis. Depois de perder a mulher, viu-se confrontado com uma decis\u00e3o imposs\u00edvel: permanecer num lugar onde as oportunidades tinham desaparecido ou viajar para um novo pa\u00eds em busca de seguran\u00e7a e de um futuro melhor para as suas filhas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFoi muito dif\u00edcil sair da Venezuela e chegar ao Brasil\u201d, recorda Jos\u00e9. \u201cEm Pacaraima, passei mais de oito dias num longo processo para esclarecer a minha situa\u00e7\u00e3o de pai solteiro e apresentar a nossa documenta\u00e7\u00e3o.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A vida no Brasil trouxe-lhe novos desafios: encontrar trabalho, cuidar de duas filhas em luto e gerir os seus pr\u00f3prios problemas de sa\u00fade. Um assistente social acabou por o encaminhar para a ADRA. Essa apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o mudou tudo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cA equipa da ADRA foi incr\u00edvel\u201d, diz ele. \u201cInscreveram-me no projeto Providencia e, em menos de 15 dias, telefonaram-me para me darem o cart\u00e3o de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o com o qual me sustento a mim e \u00e0s minhas filhas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Atrav\u00e9s de workshops e grupos de apoio, Jos\u00e9 come\u00e7ou a aprender sobre nutri\u00e7\u00e3o, bem-estar e resili\u00eancia. As suas filhas prosperaram nas sess\u00f5es NutriKids, regressando a casa ansiosas por aplicar h\u00e1bitos saud\u00e1veis, chegando mesmo a pedir um \u201cbolo de anivers\u00e1rio\u201d de melancia para celebrar o seu novo estilo de vida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Behind their smiles, the family still carries grief. Questions from classmates about their mother can bring tears. Yet ADRA\u2019s psychosocial support group has offered Jos\u00e9 strength: \u201cParticipating has helped me a lot. We share with other people in a safe way. I am very grateful for the kindness and support they offer us; we leave with a different mentality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked about his dreams, Jos\u00e9\u2019s response is simple and profound: \u201cI want to see my daughters grow, study, and graduate. And I want to see ADRA grow. \u00e9 importante<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A migra\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas uma estat\u00edstica, \u00e9 uma hist\u00f3ria humana. \u00c9 a hist\u00f3ria de Jos\u00e9, segurando as m\u00e3os das suas duas filhas enquanto atravessa uma fronteira. \u00c9 a hist\u00f3ria de fam\u00edlias exaustas que chegam a uma tenda da ADRA e encontram o que lhes tem faltado: seguran\u00e7a, dignidade e esperan\u00e7a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No Dia Mundial dos Migrantes, recordamos o que a nossa voca\u00e7\u00e3o
