After the treacherous trip across the Mediterranean, in rubber dinghies over high waves, they\u00a0arrive far from where they are able to get legal papers and continue their journey.<\/h2>\n<p>Colder weather is now adding to severe exhaustion and hunger as threats to these displaced families, and many have injuries or illness that need addressing.<\/p>\n<p>ADRA Slovenia will be leading the implementation of a project that meets the immediate needs for these newly arriving refugees, partnering\u00a0with ASI (Adventist Laymen&#8217;s Service &amp; Industries), UNHCR, and several supporting NGOs.<\/p>\n<p>Refugees will receive food, drink, medical and dental assistance, and bus transport from the coast\u00a0where they land\u00a0to the capital where they can start paperwork and access the ferry to the mainland for further travel.<\/p>\n<p><em>Your support is reaching refugees and others in need around the world.
