This Father’s Day, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) celebrates fathers around the world who demonstrate love not only through their words, but through the decisions they make every day to protect and care for their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A father’s influence can shape a child’s future in countless ways, including ensuring they have access to essential healthcare. In Uttar Pradesh, India, ADRA’s BRIDGE-UP project is helping fathers become informed advocates for their children’s health by increasing awareness about the importance of routine immunization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Implemented by ADRA India in partnership with UNICEF, BRIDGE-UP works to improve vaccine confidence, increase routine immunization coverage, and reach children who have not yet received life-saving vaccines. Through focused community meetings, fathers are learning about the safety, benefits, and long-term impact of immunization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When fathers are informed, they are more likely to support clinic visits, prioritize family health, and help overcome misinformation. Their involvement strengthens shared parental responsibility and helps ensure children receive the protection they need to grow and thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
