Serving the local population since 2010

Timor-Leste faces severe challenges in food security and malnutrition. Over half of children under five are stunted in their physical and cognitive development. ADRA in Timor-Leste is working to improve nutrition and food security by supporting farmers to grow nutritious foods in community gardens and introducing improved farming methods and helping farmers access markets to sell their produce. Additionally, 40 percent of the population lacks access to clean water, and ADRA is working with communities to provide access to potable water and sanitation.
